Nature Notes


Late February

Largest square: white horse  out enjoying some fresh air even though it was cold and windy.

Moving clockwise: snow on  Phragmites (sadly, an invasive species); rose hip. female cardinal. snow on pine branch, and snow on cedar fence.

i thought the rosehip was a tomato... missed this yesterday somehow. and the out of bounds works on anything, but it really needs something special, like a child kicking a ball. pretty useless skill.

Beautiful! You captured the essence of winter in the collage. The horse looks so pretty in he snow. And the Phragmites sure is pretty despite being invasive. Has anyone attempted to remove it in your area? It is all over Cape Cod, but I haven't seen any effort to control it.

The Cardinal is pretty and I love the horse. Beautiful winter scenes. The phragmites are sad to see growing and taking over! Another lovely nature collage.
