Yellow/ Photo Hunter

Private airplane at small airport in Baldwin, Ontario

This week's Photo Hunter challenge is: YELLOW

No, we don't still have all this snow. I took this photo on a very cold day a few weeks ago at a grass-strip airport just north of East Gwillimbury.

I'll have to show this to our pilot friends. Definately a great photo for the yellow theme.

Great 'yellow' picture. My brother (who died in 1985) used to own a yellow Piper Cub---and loved flying it all around his area in Florida. I got to take a ride with him once. NEAT!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Great photo and idea for this week’s theme.
This plane is so cute - looks like a toy.

Oh, I love this plane. I have jury duty (the whole month of April), and the court is next to a small airport. I'm hoping for some airplane photos, both on the ground and in the air. Keep your fingers crossed.

Nice pic and yes it is nice to have the first signs of spring already!

Wow Neat picture. I love small planes but have never gone up in one. I like to go to the local small airport and watch them too.
Spectacular yellow. MB

Seattle and neighboring Tacome Wa are major seaports. Gateway to the Pacific is their motto. and elsewhere I imagine.

Thast is a fun photo, soon it will be warm enough to be flying but can't imagine wanting to be up there in the wind just yet.

What a great choice for the yellow theme. I love the look of the whole picture and it's amazing that you had a shot of a yellow plane!

Why is there a patch of grass under the plane? Was the plane parked over night when there was a dusting of snow?

Are the snow melting?

Brilliant choice for the yellow theme! My father would love to see that plane!

Guess he was grounded that day huh? The air density would have been perfect for a small plane like that, but landing in that snow would've been tricky!

Great shot!

I don't think I've seen a play so yellow before. I've seen them with yellow on them but this one is pretty much all yellow! Great photo too!

Mine is up...I'm just running behind visiting everyone else.

Sometimes I can't believe the things you find to take pictures of. The yellow plane is very eye catching. I saw a yellow helicopter a few months ago but didn't have my camera.

This play of colors in the pictures is lovely!

Thanks for your visit and have a great week!

This is a great picture for 'Yellow'. I think the the snow makes the yellow of the plane even more vibrant.
