Catching Pollywogs (Tadpoles)

What could be more fun on a warm July day than catching pollywogs (tadpoles or very young frogs) with your bare hands?

When I saw your post about pollywogs, bells went off in the back of my mind and after a search with Google also found that sailors that haven't crossed the Equator are also called pollywogs

Shame they are all boys! I used to love doing this when I was a wee lass. Then watching them turn into frogs over the weeks. Great times ...

I remember doing exactly the same as a kid in UK! But of course, our frogs had a British accent!!!
